MaineMesh Update - First Community Sponsor + Solar Node Build Underway

Huge thanks to our first community sponsor for donating parts to help build a solar-powered Meshtastic router node serving the Portland area.

This node is already in progress and is a great example of what we can accomplish together when the community gets involved.

With several high-coverage, elevated locations already tested, we are ready to begin deploying additional permanent routers to expand regional coverage.

We are currently looking for members willing to help sponsor future router builds for these requested areas:

• Portland
• Falmouth
• Lewiston
• Auburn
• Brunswick
• Oxford

Ways you can help:

• Donate hardware or spare parts
• Contribute time for builds, installs, or maintenance
• Provide access to elevated locations (rooftops, towers, hills, barns, etc.)
